Candidates for this position must possess:
Commitment to patient care Excellent skills and clinical ability Experience in operating room care Ambulatory surgery experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification, PALS preferred Current Iowa Nursing License The main duties of this position are:
Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management Addresses patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels Being part of an elite team, and the work/life balance that is a benefit of working in an ambulatory setting, are just two of the reasons you should apply today.
