Provide comfort and reassurance to patients and support the patients' right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Confirm that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice Assist in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels Perform thorough pre-operative patient assessment required in the outpatient setting Perform safe and individualized nursing care for the patient in the immediate post-operative/post-anesthesia period Perform thorough post-operative patient assessment prior to discharge of the patient Perform discharge education to patient and care giver Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered Success in this position will require.

Current Iowa or compact state nursing license Commitment to patient care Excellent skills and clinical ability Minimum two years pre- and post-operative experience Ambulatory care experience, preferred BLS and ACLS certification, PALS preferred You will receive.
