The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.
Our CLG Credit Risk team partners across the Home Lending businesses to satisfy our customers' ongoing financial needs by providing sustainable home lending solutions while striving to maintain a consistent and efficient credit culture and strategy.
The Operational Risk Consultant 2 (3PSP) will be responsible for implementing and monitoring a risk-based program to identify, assess and manage any operational risk related to third party service provider (vendor) management that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk management and operational efficiency.
This role will also be active in the full end to end service provider lifecycle, partnering with business unit, Supply Chain and other areas to onboard new Service Provider engagements.
This person will function as an Engagement or Relationship Manager between the Servicing and Collection LOB business managers and the Third Party Office to manage the risk associated with the engagement.
Specifically:
Responsible for multi-business unit Service Provider relationships.
Ensure that all risks are appropriately realized and managed; recommendations, consulting and guidance are provided in accordance with Wells Fargo Third Party Service Provider policy and other applicable policies.
Ensure all service providers are appropriately classified with Risk rating in partnership with Operational Risk group.
Ensure all service providers participate in and comply with Wells Fargo's Information Security requirements as appropriate to include Site Visits, ECISE, ASR, Satellite Visits and Code Review.
Ensure service provider complies will all Findings from these activities.
Complete Monitoring and Oversight and other documentation as applicable for service provider's scope.
Re-evaluate and classify service providers as needed due to change in scope of services/products procured or policy change internally at Wells Fargo.
Maintain annual re-certification and re-assessment documentation.
Maintain vendor records in the VMSOR.
Maintain open dialogue with business managers and service providers; report findings and recommendations to mitigate risk for service providers.
Participate in and may manage multiple projects concurrently with appropriate internal partners to successfully complete projects.
Identifies operational risk issues and advises management on risk ratings consistent with established policy controls.
Preferred locations are listed however we will consider other major hub locations for Wells Fargo.
Basic Qualifications: 1+ years in compliance or operational risk mgmt. (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk) and 1+ years in one or more of the following: compliance, operational risk mgmt., IT systems security, business process mgmt. or financial services, or a Bachelor's or advanced degree in business or economics.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing operational risk / compliance activities.
Familiarity with the Corporate Third Party Risk Management program, or other Vendor Management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication, written skills and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong consulting and analysis skills.
Experience multitasking and prioritizing many competing needs.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to think strategically, identify interdependencies and address downstream impacts.
Experience in performing risk analysis.
Knowledge / experience in Business Continuity Planning.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
