Duties: Use standard occupational tools and knowledge to perform the following duties: While working under close supervision and direction, develop and execute multi-tiered web applications on windows client and server operating systems. Under direction of a supervisor, design, develop, test, and support .NET web-based applications using, among other .NET tools, C#, Common Language Runtime (CLR), .NET Framework, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET and Spring.NET. Modify existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Assist in the analysis of existing business processes and systems. Subject to review and approval by a supervisor, develop and direct software unit testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Document the requirements needed to implement solutions that meet the clients business needs. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Create and perform unit test cases. Subject to review and approval by a supervisor, coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. May perform additional job duties as needed.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or any related IT or Engineering field of study that provided the required skills and knowledge, and 1 year of experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities. Note: Either a 3-year or 4-year degree is acceptable. Employer will accept a foreign degree. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantially compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States that may require relocation.
